Art Now for Autism is an online fine arts and crafts exhibition and fund raiser benefiting autism awareness and research. Organized by artist and mother of a child with autism Claudine Intner, this year's exhibit included the work of over 120 artists. 100% of art sales go to Autism Speaks. The event coincides with the Washington, DC Walk Now for Autism to be held on November 8th.
This year's Art Now for Autism has come to a close. Thank you to all of our artists and donors! We have raised $7,086.05 and sold over 200 works of art on behalf of autism awareness and research. We look forward to the Washington, DC Walk Now for Autism on November 8th.
Notes for Donors: If you have purchased art, please remember to pay for it. Click here for details on how to pay by check or credit card. If you have additional questions, please email Claudine. All payments need to be received by November 7th so that they can be turned in to Autism Speaks on November 8th at the Walk. Artwork will not ship until we have received your payment. Did you miss the sale but still want to make a donation in support of autism awarenss and research? Additional contributions are welcome here! T-shirts, bags, and additional items are still available in our Cafe Press shop.
Notes for Artists: Thank you so much for your participation! Unsold work will be returned to artists unless otherwise discussed with Claudine. Each artist will receive a list with information regarding their art sales. If you have further questions for Claudine, please email her. We truly appreciate your participation and support!
Next Year: We are in the process of reevaluating what worked and didn't work this year and will announce plans for next year in April or May 2009. Artists are encouraged to join the Art Now for Autism yahoo group so they can receive updates when available.
THANK YOU!
